Unthawing in the Warmth

Over my winter break from school my boyfriend's family took the whole family on Vacation to St. Maarten. I'm so thankful for them allowing me to come along. It couldn't have been more fun. I loved being able to unthaw in the warm from Minnesota's cold winters (which I love so I shouldn't complain). I have never been to St. Maarten before this, so it was nice to have Jackie and Mike to show us all their favorite places to eat and beaches. I mostly enjoyed just being able to lay out in the sun to relax and  catch up on my reading. 

Jordan and I decided to get up early one morning to watch the sun rise since we couldn't see the sun set from our villa.

A Belated Merry Christmas

This is a little late, but I got busy with spending time with family and friends over break. My Christmas was everything I could have hoped for: family, friends, good food, celebrating Jesus' birthday, and a play. I love the traditions my family and I do every year to get ready for Christmas. Christmas is my favorite holiday. But I hope everyone can always remember why we celebrate Christmas, to praise the Lord!
